Moi c’est Ananda, l’illustratrice qui se cache derrière Astérie Créations et je suis basée à Montpellier, dans le sud de la France.
J’aime imaginer des illustrations qui font la part belle à la nature, aux animaux et à l’imaginaire. Mon style est doux et poétique avec très souvent un brin de magie et de régression enfantine, ça doit être les restes de mon adolescence le nez plongé dans les romans de fantasy qui s’expriment.
Je dessine par intermittence depuis que je suis toute petite. D’ailleurs, lors de mon enfance en Guadeloupe, il n’était pas rare que je fasse l’école buissonnière et que l’on me retrouve sur la plage, les pieds dans le sable chaud, la tête dans les nuages et les doigts occupés à gribouiller dans mes carnets de dessin.
Lorsque j’étais enfant, je voulais être voyageuse (pour de vrai), reporter animalier pour National Geographic, archéologue (merci Indiana Jones), architecte, dessinatrice, photographe… Et même si je peux avoir tendance à m’éparpiller, j’ai toujours gardé la créativité et la nature comme piliers fondamentaux.
Je serais enchantée de t’accompagner dans la réalisation de ton projet. Que ce soit pour l’édition, la presse ou la publicité, ma créativité est à ton service !

A little bit about me
Hello! My name is Ananda and I am the illustrator behind Asterie Creations. I live in the beautiful city of Montpellier, southern France.
I love dreaming up worlds and characters that evoke a sense of calm with a touch of magic and mystery, I think it’s the remains of my childhood, where I could spend hours and hours reading Fantasy novels.
I’ve been drawing with ups and downs since I am a little girl and during my childhood in Guadeloupe Island I often got caught at the beach where I’d rather spent my days, my feet in the warm sand, listening the sound of the waves and doodling in my sketchbook instead of going to school.
When I was little I wanted to be a traveler (true story), a photographer, a reporter for National Geographic, an archaeologist (thank you Indiana Jones), an architect… You got it, I am a dreamer with the longing for adventures and I like to seek inspiration in various places.
